There She Goes

I’ve had a very long relationship with Lily, the main character in the crime novel manuscript I just sent off to my editor this morning. It feels like I’m sending her off to her good life, something she’s been cheated out of for far too long. It was challenging for me to figure out a way to show how such a damaged young woman could somehow come out on the other side of physical and emotional torment to health and happiness.

I think I did it. Now I just need to wait to see what my editor thinks:)

  1. How exciting for you Sis!

I finished my story of your brother and I. Not even close to what you do…more like a manuscript lol. Now working on book cover and scrap pages with photos in it. Gonna surprise him Christmas morning. I thing my title will be, “Everybody loves a love story but ours is my favorite”

    1. It is such a relief as this one was quite a challenge and Sharon there were times I thought I might not be able to do it. I did a lot of things narratively I’ve never done before-its a serious crime novel-I only sort of dabbled with amateur sleuths before so I had a ton of research because my characters are a police detective and a private investigator. I knew nothing about either profession. I do love research though and maybe a little too much. xo
