I tend to cut myself a lot of slack. I like free time to read and goof off so when I teach a M/W schedule, like I’m doing now, Tuesdays are usually reserved for prepping lectures, grading papers, or other classroom business. But this time I don’t want to go three days without working on my book. So I forced myself to the page yesterday–even though I had school work to plan. I only got 4 pages revised but much of that was rewritten completely. I felt really good after just doing the work required to keep my momentum with this story.
Hi, Cindy. I think it’s great to break out of your routine to keep the momentum for your book editing. You go, girl!
