Wrote the synopsis, which was horrid, as these things are. The challenge will be to make it not horrid but compelling enough to get to the next step, which is a request for a full. I have had more requests for chapters than I can count. (But never one on Christmas Eve!) I’ve even had requests for fulls. And so far, none of that has led to a contract.
Still, I keep trying. One way or another I will get my novels out there. All that needs solving now is How. And I’ve got plenty of ideas and leads in that direction, Harlequin being just one possibility. Everybody’s doing 2011 resolutions but I already have my 2012 resolution, and that’s to have my novels published, yes, all 7 of them, by the time AWD turns 10.
2012 scares me a little. Not so much because of the end of the Mayan Calendar and possible end of the world… but because I’m turning 30 then. ^_^

What’s that saying about blowing the dress rehearsal and insuring a wonderful performance? “Break a leg,” Cindy.

You are such an inspiration. I hate synopsis writing too- you can do it though- and I know the final product will be beautiful. Fingers crossed!
