too busy to blog

Well, almost. Here’s what I’m up to on the revision. Read the complete ms. yesterday and cut fifty or so pages. That took six or seven hours as I shuffled scenes and penciled in revisions on the sentence and paragraph level. Today I retyped entire first act, which was pretty clean but is now perfect. This morning, I also outlined every scene from Act 2 to make sure the goal/stakes/tension was honed to perfection. Also made notes on scenes to add to Acts 2 & 3 because after all the cuts it was choppy in places. And then, did some research. Now I’m starving. Time for a lunch break.
